Overview

The Mid-Atlantic Business Group on Health (MABGH) is an association of health care purchasers. We have an ambitious vision and mission, a small staff, and dedicated volunteers. 

What We Do

  • Education: Provide high-quality and actionable education on tools and benefits strategies that foster the “triple aim” of healthcare: better health, better care, and lower costs
  • Thought Leadership: Convene employers and other purchasers to share experiences and identify best practices
  • Policy: Educate legislators on health policies that will support purchasers and the populations they serve, at the state and national level
  • National Partnership: Collaborate with other regional coalitions and purchasers on developing tools and offering education, through our national organization, the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions

Mission

We empower employers and purchasers of health care through collaboration to improve quality, access, and the affordability of care in the region.
